Carol Mighton Haddix is the former food editor of the Chicago Tribune. She is editor of Ethnic Chicago Cookbook: Ethnic-Inspired Recipes from the Pages of the Chicago Tribune. Bruce Kraigis professor emeritus in history and the humanities at Roosevelt University. He is the author of Hot Dog: A Global History, and coauthor (with Colleen Taylor Sen) of Street Food: Everything You Need to Know about Open-Air Stands, Carts, and Food Trucks across the Globe. Colleen Taylor Sen is a food and travel journalist and food historian and the author of Curry: A Global Historyand Feasts and Fasts: History of Food in India

Monica Eng reports and produces segments on food, health and ethnic culture in Chicago and beyond. Before coming to WBEZ, Monica Eng was a food, culture and watchdog-investigative reporter at the Chicago Tribune for 16 years. Before that she wrote and edited for the Daily Southtown and Chicago Sun Times. Monica has won multiple writing awards and been nominated for the James Beard Award five times. Monica is a fourth generation Chicagoan whose children are fourth generation Chicago Public Schools graduates.
