2008 Quo Macabeo Chardonnay
A Roberto Perez Martinez Spanish blend of 80% Macabeo and 20% Chardonnay from the Campo de Borja, Aragon appellations.

2008 Ponga Sauvignon Blanc
Bright, contemporary, fruit-driven style, offering exceptional value for money. This fragrant wine exhibits flavors of nectarine, lime, orange zest and grapefruit. Mineral and floral nuances accent the finish. Pale straw with brilliant clarity, with a fragrant nose of stone fruit and citrus aromas. Great mouth feel and mouthwatering acidity creates an enduring, structured and well-balanced finish.

2008 Quinta de Cabriz White Blend
A delicious blend of Malvasia Fina, Cercial, Encruzado and Bical grapes. Incredibly crisp and refreshing, with bracing acidity and lovely citrus notes. Pale lemon yellow color with aromas of white flowers, pineapple, grapefruit and lime. Crisp, lifted notes of honey, lemon, fresh fruit; medium-body with balanced acidity and alcohol. Clean, fresh finish. Scored 90 points and #10 of 100 in Wine Enthusiast magazine (November 2009 issue).

2008 Kilda Lightly Oaked Chardonnay
Zesty lemon and stone-fruit aromas are balanced with quite subtle oak notes. This fruit-driven wine offers very crisp acidity, and has been enhanced by lees stirring, giving great texture and balance to the mid-palate. Citrus and stone-fruit flavors stand out; vibrant and pleasing.

2008 Bianco di Custoza "Torre del Falasco"
This is an elegant wine with flavours of honeydew melon and other tropical fruits.  This is a blend of Tocai Friuliano, Garganega, Riesling Italico, Cortese and Trebbiano.  The grapes are harvested from 10 to 20 year old vines in vineyards located in Sommacampagna in Custoza.

2008 Corvina "Torre del Fasco"
Corvina is a thick-skinned varietal found in the Veneto region.  The grapes are handpicked in September, pressed, cold-soaked and fermented on the lees for 5 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.  It is a 100% Corvina Veronese and was aged for 10 months in used Slavonian oak barrels till bottling.

2007 Valpolicella Ripasso "Torre del Falsco"
This is a blend of Rondinella (50%), Molinara (25%) and Corvina (25%) grapes and a medium-bodied wine; with gobs of fruit (cherries and ripe plums); smooth tannins; good acidity and balance; and a light sweetness in the finish.

2008 Riesling Kabinet "Piesporter Goldtropfehen"
Harvested near the end of October from the highest portions of the estate’s holdings in this great amphitheatric vineyard.  High-toned floral, citrus and apple aromas and flavors meet a pungent mineral element in this complex white, which is juicy, yet also has a dry mineral salt quality that signifies the aftertaste. 91 points, Wine Spectator

2008 Riesling Spatlese "Ockfener Bockstein"
The 2008 Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Kabinett, whose relatively high 9% alcohol (a legacy of sheer ripeness) does not prevent it fulfilling its duty as Kabinett to be delicate and engagingly juicy.  This is a vivid Riesling that crackles on the palate with fireworks of black currant, violet, lime and slate.  There's also a savory aspect that lingers on the finish. 90 points, Wine Spectator

2008 Riesling Spatlese "Piesporter Goldtropfchen"
This 2008 Spätlese is refined, with flavors of peach, lime, mineral and a mix of savory herbs.  It is delicate yet vivid on the palate, with vibrant acidity driving the finish.  There's a hint of vanilla on the aftertaste.  It will be the best to drink it from 2010 through 2022. 200 cases made. 92 points, Wine Spectator

2008 Urban Riesling (Germany, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer)
Rendered from fruit purchased from growers in Mehring, where Weis is now also a landholder through his wife’s family, this selection offers impeccable balance with virtual dryness, liveliness, and lift; generous flavors of nut oils, coffee, and tropical fruit (all typical for this village), apricot and grapefruit; and oily, fusil, as well as classic Mosel wet stone traits.

2008 Riesling "QbA" (Germany, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer)
Incorporating fruit from the upper reaches of the towering Laurentiuslay as well as from Leiwener Klostergarten and Wiltinger Schlangengraben, this wine smells pungently of orange zest, sage, and under-ripe apricot. A honeyed cast on the palate – supported by well-judged residual sugar – offers an attractive foil to the wine’s pungency and lively acidity.  Citrus oil, apricot skin tartness, and wet stone mark the considerable finish of this excellent value, best suited for enjoyment over the next couple of years.

2008 Riesling Kabinett "Ockfener Bockstein" (Germany, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer)
The relatively high 9% alcohol (a legacy of sheer ripeness) does not prevent it fulfilling its duty as Kabinett to be delicate and engagingly juicy.  This is a vivid Riesling that crackles on the palate with fireworks of black currant, violet, lime and slate.  There's also a savory aspect that lingers on the finish. 90 points, Wine Spectator

Red Wines

2004 Arcturus Cabernet Sauvignon
Bordeux style blended with the perfect amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from the mountains of Atlas Peak Appellation. Exhibits aromas of parsley, sage and wild berry jam, while the palate is full of currant, cassis, and steak tartare. The finish lingers with the distinctive Napa Valley Cabernet Savignon characters of mixed spices and earthy soil.

2007 Cannonball Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromas of fresh berries, spice, and pepper with a faint background of vanilla oak. Full and rich with bright acidity, the berry and spice flavors are boldly represented along with racy, red fruit and vanilla-cherry on a layer of cocoa.

2007 Stephen Vincent Crimson
A blend of 75% Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, grapes from the Central Coast growing regions of California. This very rich wine has a beautiful ripe plum and blackberry flavor, accented with hints of cassis and toasty French and American Oak. Lots of black fruit in the nose with soft tannins rounding out rich flavors of licorice, blackberries and cinnamon.

2008 Silverwing Pinot Noir
A generous bouquet of plum, cherry and spice; palate is fruit-driven and lightly accented with French oak. Perfectly balanced, with sustaining length and good finish.

2006 Zoom Zinfandel
Zoom Zin is rich and hedonistic, yet beautifully balanced, drawing out the complexities of pepper, spice, and dark sweet fruit found in the grapes from these dramatic mountainside vineyards. This is old school Zin, with deep tannins and structure.

2008 Corvina "Torre del Falasco"
Corvina is a thick-skinned varietal found in the Veneto region.  It is a key ingredient of the light red wines known as Valpolicella and Bardolino, but also full-bodied Amarone. The grapes are handpicked in September, pressed, cold-soaked and fermented on the lees for 5 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.  It is a 100% Corvina Veronese and was aged for 10 months in used Slavonian oak barrels till bottling.
