The Book Cellar is an independently owned, community-oriented bookstore located in the heart of Lincoln Square, Chicago. We offer a wide selection of titles, and we're committed to connecting readers with books they'll love. We welcome you to browse the shelves, check out our staff recommendations, attend one of our many book events, or stop by our cafe for wine, beer, sandwiches, and pastries. We are proud to continue the tradition of independent bookselling and look forward to your visit.
What We Read
Each month any member who so desires brings a book to introduce to the group. The members present that evening vote for the upcoming reading selection; for example, in June club members will vote for August's selection.
Thursday, July 8 at 7PM: Playing with the Enemy by Gary Moore.
Wednesday, August 4 at 7 PM: Zeitoun by Dave Eggers.
Wednesday, September 1st at 7 PM:

Colum McCann.
Wednesday, October 6 at 7 pm: Lacuna by
Barbara Kingsolver.
When We Meet
The first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm.
